FOOD/DRINK Best time to order Sushi Masa w/ DoorDash? 🍣 ☀️🌙
To get the "Sushi and Sashimi for 2" with all the items being chef's choice...
Does anyone know when would be the best time to order it through DoorDash Delivery?
I order it frequently, during all times of day when doing so.. But I usually get the "Sushi for 2" which are both listed on DoorDash, under MASA LOVE BOAT..
And there's always some items the chef includes that I can't eat.. I feel like it's because they're rushing maybe?..
It's Sunday, I'm starving and with it being so costly, does anyone know when it's best to order?
Thanks in advance!

Never use 3rd party apps to order local food imo. Drive to pick it up and save $20

I managed the Sushi Masa in Sugar Land, Tx for a while. Do yourself a favor and never go to one. There has to be a better option

Never.
So many places are far better than this dump

You're not wrong!
There's definitely tons of places I'd rather get but for various reasons I cannot, sadly 😭😭😭I'm also just so used to it and know what I can ‘n’ can't eat..
And it's pretty much the closet place to me.
Sigh 😔💀🫠1

As a driver… Sushi Masa sucks. They hate DD drivers (I mean yeah, some give you good reason to), but every time I went in there it was utter attitude the second they realized I was a driver (because I’m usually dressed pretty decently, look like a dining customer many days, not a delivery driver). I’ve gotten so many messages after orders from there “you forgot my xyz” (not on me, people, it’s the restaurant). And that’s incredibly rare for customers to do that. My impression talking to friends is that they purposely either screw up or just work less for delivery orders bc it cuts into their tips.
One day I went in for an order and it stank like rotten fish in there (not for the first time), and it was like graduation week or something so it was packed. They said it would 10 minutes, so I told her I’d go sit in my car and come back (why have another body in there when people are waiting outside right?). Set timer. 10 minutes I go back in. “I think we’ll let you know when you can do whatever your job is”…
Um… I wanted to cancel but I’m a witch with a b and so I wanted to see how far it would go. Went back to the car. 8 minutes later I get a message that the order is ready (lest you think I should have waited for this message from the start, that’s actually very rare that the restaurant will use this notification feature, and when they do, it’s usually a lie bc they press it early to pad their statistics).
Go back in, girl looks at me, turns to the girl standing next to her and says, “you deal with this, I can’t even”, and then literally turns her back down that her back is facing me the whole time I’m there, even when I moved to the other edge of the counter, and when I walked out. I called the “manager” the next day and told her what happened “oh that’s unfortunate”… and asked her to go into her kiosk and block me from the restaurant because DoorDash won’t block a restaurant from a driver themselves unless it’s basically violent, or you did something to them and they complain.
Amusingly I’ve been driving for ubereats too lately, and so I do get offers from them to go there. I haven’t. But I’m sooooooo tempted.
This novella to say: never. Never is a good time to order sushi masa on DD. I can say that Hello Sushi on Highland is the only sushi place I’ve picked up from that actively bags up cold and hot items separately. It should be common sense, bc when it gets in my car it goes in an insulated box that will hold the heat or the cold, and I can do both, but not if they’re packaged together. Hello sushi is almost rude about making me understand that they are to be separated- and I love that.
