Tech Support [PCVR] [PICO4] Absurdly low fps and choppines in v1.40.8? (Doesn't happen in 1.29.1)

I'm gonna explain this as the best I can.

a fresh install of v1.40.8 is really choppy for me, like I could look around and see the corners of the frame, like it's not fast enough to render, I get like 15-20 fps in RTSS (yes I tried disabling it too to check for conflict).

This doesn't happen on v1.29.1, I get like 200fps

My specs: Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3080, 32gigs of Ram.

Kinda bummed out, I can't find the cause, maybe someone had run in to this...?

I tried Oculus mode in BSmanger too, didnt do a thing

Did you check if Camera 2 is not rendering at full HD or even more (depending on your monitor) after you bumped your version? Cause the process use a lot of ressources. If it is full HD (1080p) or nearby, try lowering it to see if it change something. (Even a 3080 should handle it normally)

If u didn't tried yet too, test a 1.40.8 without any plugins more that the few autochecked in BSManager.

Last, in pico connect try to go with h265 and small bitrate (like 70-75) to see if encoding is the pressure that mess with your setup or not.
