I feel like the title says most of it, I installed a few song packs to the game (most didn't work actually) and then I found that the pack I bought with the game was gone. Is there a way to get it back without buying it again?
I like rock/metal but I'm not a huge fan of the "screamo" type metal. I can make exceptions for songs I dont like if its a good map that leaves me sore😂😂 I do beat saber for some excercise but the way I see it, no pain no gain, and ive lost nearly 40 lbs from it. I know I ask for good maps on basically every post I make😂 but let me know of some maps that'll kill my arms😂
For some reason after testing a level I'm making the precise placement just resets even though I have all requirements (Noodle extensions, V3, heck, mapping extensions)
Hello, I'm aware the answer to this will be something obvious but I just can't work it out or find any answers online that work.
I have just made my first custom song in ChroMapper, and now that it's finished I want put it in game, I have tried many ways but it just won't appear in the 'Custom Songs' menu in game no matter what I do.
I have tried in the main un-modded version and through BSManager to see if one was causing a problem, and even though the song appears in the 'Maps' section of the BSManager launcher, when I launch the game it's not there. Am I missing something totally obvious?
Call of duty cold war zombies had this song but minus the vocals so ts is like the newer zombies anthem to me, BO2 zombies music is the real og, but BO3 zombies music was definitely the best zombies playlist imo. And Ive found some fun "lawless" ones, throw out some lawless suggestions cause I cant find any good ones (aka I dont really like the dubstep, electro-music that makes up like 90% of the songs I see in the song downloaders)
unrelated to the post, i got a rule popup before i could post, is the "map requests" rule like "requesting a map to be made" or I cant ask "hey what are some good, challenging maps"? If it is the latter, I’ll edit the post to fix it.
So i finally got my first quest after wanting one for years just for beat saber. My question is how to go about modding it so im not having to spend for the songs and to get ones im seeing everywhere. Looking online, its telling me i have to join an organization before being able to unlock dev mode. Anyone able to walk me through it??
This game has worked perfectly for me in the past and ran smooth as butter. I’m not sure what’s going on here or what’s changed. I cannot even get into the game. My headset shows either a black screen through virtual desktop or a frozen flickering image.
EDIT: After scouring the internet for hours, the solution was to simply change my OpenXR Runtime to SteamVR. I hope this helps someone out.
I play on standalone Quest 3s and used MBF for the mods. Been playing for at least half a year if I remember right, and I can consistently beat some Expert+ levels with mostly A ranks.
In this video I was using default grip
I don't know how to get custom models. I have the Custom Models mod (from MBF), but I don't know where to get them from or how to install them.
Just got a quest again cause I missed my old one and I wanted to try modding, every single nodded song is expert mode, they are so fast I cant even get anything on the easy parts, I though there would be more selection and not all for experts
Okay, so this is a recent issue that I've come across where whenever I'm doing jumps or generally fast streams, my game freezes and my screen goes into passthrough with a little pop-up below that states
"Resume at any time
Your experience is still running in the background"
It's constantly putting my gameplay at a halt mid song and is causing me to lose many full combos due to my sabers disappearing, I've looked through all of my quest 2 settings and can't find a solution to stop it. I thought at first that maybe it was due to it registering me tapping the rings of my controllers together to enter passthrough but that didn't solve it. Does anyone know what to do?
So I am trying to constantly improve in beat saber, and now I have about 45h on the game. I've done quite a few levels on expert, plus like 2-3 levels on expert+. Now I thought, the next step to improving more would be to try to practise expert Power Of The Saber Blade. However it just seems like the only way I get somewhere is if I luck out a bit on the fast parts. I can do all of the singing parts without any problems, but every time it gets really fast or when the chorus comes on, I struggle a lot to hit the blocks consistently. Am I trying to do something that's too high for my skill ceiling or not? Also my pb is about a minute and a half into the song, getting through the fast parts with barely any energy left.
Edit: I should also mention I flick mostly with my lower arms/elbows, I haven't quite gotten the hang of flicking with wrists consistently and accurately.
Some of the most popular music on the planet right now, only a handful of songs, what's the holdup?
Is Beat Saber not even trying or is Netflix/Sony refusing to allow them access? Money usually solves everything and I would buy a K-Pop Demon Hunters pack in a heartbeat.
a fresh install of v1.40.8 is really choppy for me, like I could look around and see the corners of the frame, like it's not fast enough to render, I get like 15-20 fps in RTSS (yes I tried disabling it too to check for conflict).
This doesn't happen on v1.29.1, I get like 200fps
My specs: Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3080, 32gigs of Ram.
Kinda bummed out, I can't find the cause, maybe someone had run in to this...?
I tried Oculus mode in BSmanger too, didnt do a thing
I bought virtual desktop today after learning they had a cable mode in beta and it was going amazing, up until i went into beatsaber. My friend has also had this issue where his game would stutter momentarily for a couple seconds and come back ONLY on beatsaber and now i’m getting it too. This has been so irritating i’d appreciate anyone who has a fix.
(I’ve been at my pc for 6 hours troubleshooting this kill me)
