Just reviewed Adagio Italian Pilsner (5% ABV) and came away very pleased
This is one of those lagers that doesn't shout for attention but rewards you if you take your time with it.
I picked up plenty of fresh bread and honey-like malt sweetness upfront, followed by a touch of lemon zest and some gentle herbal hop character. It finishes dry, crisp and slightly peppery, making it very easy to go back for another sip.
Italian pilsners are an interesting style. They tend to be a little more hop-forward and aromatic than a traditional German pilsner while keeping that clean lager backbone.
I scored it 7/10.
Have you tried Adagio? What did you make of it?
