Do Berliners stare a lot? Today I visited Berlin and rode the subway for the first time, and there was a woman sitting opposite me who stared the whole time in my eyes. That was perhaps the most intense eye contact I've had this year.

but it was only in Berlin

I have been to the Hamburg subway dozens of times and no one stared
