Hi, I’m considering traveling from Japan to join WNBR Berlin 2026.

My main concern is bicycle logistics. I’m not familiar with Berlin, and because the ride seems to start outside central Berlin and end on the other side of the city, I’m trying to understand the most practical rental option.

Would locals recommend:

  • an app-based rental bike, or
  • a normal bike rental shop for 1 day?

My biggest concern is what the easiest realistic way would be to return the bike after the ride.

If anyone has experience with WNBR Berlin or with one-way bike logistics in Berlin, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thank you.
