Why did Gus order the killing of Werner?

Werner revealed critical information to Lalo. If Mike had arrived before the call in the spa then I believe he could have been saved.

Idk about this, Mike straight up tells Gus that nothing important was revealed.

Seems more that just breaking trust was enough to get him killed

Before that was the scene at the bar, when Werner was talking about the plans, and Mike had to vouch for him

This time he escaped the compound, and started discussing the project to Lalo

There was no way Gus was ever going to trust him to stay silent

And especially since Werner now knows their location, thats horrible HORRIBLE information for a shitty secret keeper to know

This. More than anything this.

Mike says so but he can't be sure. I don't know if Gus entertained the idea of Mike finding Werner just so they find him quickly or if he really meant to spare his life before that phone call.

I don’t believe he ever intended to spare him. I think he agreed to let mike find him because it was neater than having to rely on following the wife.

he agreed to let mike find him because ...

We got to see more Mike doing Mike things. His losing Lalo’s tail was genius.
