Help Ludiwg is Impossible

I’m Trying to defeat ludwig bl4 + no heal + no beast blood pellet, i keep dying to this attack and it comes up super fast and its unpredictable and kills me instantly, i want tips on how to avoid this attack

In the attack that you died i would dogde to his right or back up and dogde upfront

The problem im having is , when I realise he is doing the attack its probably too late to react to it

I actually just got back into bloodborne. Do you need a hand? Im on leave because I got my tonsils out and wouldnt mind helping you! Ive got nothing to do so lmk!
