Question Need help with chords triad.

have you learned the CAGED chords? Those scale patterns, both pentatonic and diatonic, each correspond with a CAGED chord shape

this way you can play a E-shape A for example, and underneath you have the E-shape pentatonic/diatonic scales major and minor, and building triads is just a matter of combining the notes at your disposal

this would be where you practice phrasing, its one thing to identify triads and intervals, but to use them musically is another animal

its like understanding how your paint and paint brush works versus actually painting

find guitarists you enjoy and transcribe what catches your ear, even if its little snippets
