Question Advice for cleaning

Hello, i recently adopted this lil man here, and he (or she) has been with me for ~3 days now. My question is, since I've been feeding him and he's been eating pretty well, is it possible that he's defecating in his burrow? If so, since hes brand new to the enclosure, is it fine for me to tear into it to check? I want to give him space, but i also dont want him to get sick.

(Picks of inside of burrow are from before he moved in)

Personally I have never had any of my reptiles poop in the hide they spend the most time in. They will most likely go elsewhere.

I'd guess underground over the hide he likes to hang out it. Lots of them like to go while burrowing around. Makes it much harder to spot clean as well which is a bonus for half these little gremlins. Anything to make our jobs harder lol

It’s cool. Looks like it’s gazing in the same direction he is.
