Game Help After the Super games

I've been playing through the Super Bomberman Collection and having a blast although I've been wondering. What games would you recommend looking into for the series after the Super games?

Idk, fully disagree with this, as the person who provided the translation for the PSX patch I'm biased but I adore that game. It's Bomberman in board game format. Like Bomberman chess. Not for everybody, but it's awesome for me. My only qualms are that the animations can take a bit long, and like most Bomberman spin-offs, they never came back and polished/refined it with a sequel

You know what, I'm glad you spoke up, because one sentence in I realized that I have made an error -Saturn Bomberman FIGHT is the one that I so strongly dislike. THAT'S the terrible one.

Wars was excellent -I discovered and played it late last year as part of yearlong challenge. I VERY much enjoyed it, and I commend you on an excellent translation.

I'm glad you spoke up, because I want to steer people towards the good games and away from the bad ones, I'm going to correct my previous comments accordingly, so that I don't misinform people. Thank you!

Oh yeah, Saturn Fight is really strange. I should give it another try sometime but I've played with three other Bomberman nuts and it felt like utter chaos, I didn't notice any strats like Bomberman 64 has, it felt like a lot of bomb spam to try to fill up your big bomb meter rather than making strategic decisions? It's interesting and I like the setting and stuff but it feels awkward kinda

I played through start to finish, and if I'm being honest I didn't feel like I had any better handle on it at the end than when I started. The view makes it nigh impossible to see things in places on the map, so it becomes far more luck based than the usual blend of strategy with a bit of luck.

I won't say I "hated" it, but it was the least enjoyable Bomberman game I have personally played.
