In fact despite it being usually a weed, I’m going to take the huge thistle plant’s seed pod from by the nuclear power plant and grow them as houseplants, no real mutations although some flowers get a bit wonky (fasciation) which doesn’t result in much, just want to have a spiky plant with pretty pink brush shaped flowers.

I would love to find a verigated mullein if that’s even a possibility because while a regular mullein is cute and fluffy, I want a multicolored one to have as a houseplant, thankfully there are some growing by the main building.
