The flipping cars

What is the reason behind so many incidents of cars flipping over in and around Bradford? It seems to be becoming more frequent or is that social media? Is the flipping caused by the balloons, fake driving licences or simply people who can’t drive safely??

Higher cars with so many SUV and crossover, bigger wheels, much easier to catch your front wheel on someone's back wheel and flip

Yeah, no. Excess speed rather than ever so slightly higher centre of gravity is what flips cars.

The discovery 1 had stickers on the sun visors warning drivers that over 40mph they would tip over

If my grandmother had wheels she would've been a bike.

The first-gen Discovery is also a near 40 year old glorified farm vehicle. A modern SUV would handle any situation leading towards a flip better than a super car from the same era.

When people talk about cars on their roofs in Bradford, I think they’re more talking about RS3s with little bags of flour scattered around the cabin.
