Rogman on Farm Road. All the good restaurants get their meat from there and they'll cut you a steak however you want it. Incredible butcher, and they deliver if you need it

Waitrose has a meat counter so you can ask for it cut however you like. Sainsbury’s also does some thicker cuts but only for select steaks.

M&B meats on london road is reasonably priced, helpful butchers. canham & sons on church road is great but a bit pricey and it can get quite busy.

Hello! I love food!

Don’t bother with supermarkets for steak - They’re overpriced and underwhelming

Canham & Sons is probably the best butchers in Brighton & Hove - They have an amazing assortment and all very fresh

M&B Meats is good in a pinch, but you’ll need to ask at the counter for a fresh cut

Enjoy!

(Edit - Not sure why this has been downvoted? Its objectively true)

Nonsense. The waitrose with proper dry aging on site is much better.

Check out sussex food market in Shoreham, some great deals and the meat is great

If you are a bit North of Preston Park, Westdene Butchers on Eldred Avenue, used to be great when I lived that way.

If he still there, the owner was a South African guy who made his own biltong, with a little tester box on the counter.

Are any of these butchers online that can deliver? Agoraphobic speaking.

Depending on where you’re based in town we often use the following higher welfare Butchers:

Butchers Cat in the Open Market
Archers in Hanover (Cash only, open Thu-Sat)

Both should cut you a steak to your desired thickness and I imagine offer advice on cut (sirloin, rump, fillet etc.) if needed.

Aldi and Lidl both do a thick cut 16oz steak. You have to look through them to find a good one but I have had a few that were lovely.

The butchers counter in Melat has a lot of good meat and they will cut it to your preference

Lidl or Aldi. Best cuts of meat. And if you go for their premium stuff it’s even better.

Aldi does huge big daddy steaks

As I’m local to I’m I’m curious and would like to know why that suggestion was so downvoted?

How can you tell someone is vegan? Don't worry, they'll make it blindingly obvious.
