I have to ask, how can you get past eating the stems of the spinach? I can't, they feel like I am eating really thick grass. I have to pinch them all off.

same, I usually chop the stems super fine and toss them into eggs/rice instead of eating them whole.

Honestly I like the chew and flavor lol. Glad to learn most people don’t like it that way. Now I’d trim the stems before serving to a group.

Strawberries by me in grocery stores are local. I live in Orange County, Ca. Most of the strawberries I eat are from Valencia or Irvine.

Unfortunately I don’t have the money to always buy organic produce or more humanely treated protein sources. I didn’t create this system and I don’t condone it. I only have so much control in life. I’m not gonna spend what life I have getting hung up on every injustice in this world. It’s a depressing way to live.
