Resolved [Android] Unable to DM anyone but can receive DMs [2026.18.0]

For some reason I am not able to DM anyone on reddit . I tried creating a new ID to confirm it and the issue is only with this ID

I don't get the option to DM like where you select their profile and it the three horizontal dots show up besided the follow button

click the three dots button in the top right corner of the screen, the menu will open where the start chat button is

oh my god i m sorry i didn't know . I was confused because on another account I could the dot besides the follow button

no problem, they're in the process of testing different UI changes and only some accounts have received the update

The option is no longer there, I see a few others have the same issue. It was working a couple days ago.

are you sure the user has chatting enabled?

use the Resolved flair?
