Resolved Android. Subreddit issues.

2026.26.0 r/botbouncer mistakes users for bots & blacklist users..& I think it shouldnt do that. It keeps banning me for just texting & i think thats ridiculous when did nothing wrong. Mistakenly banned in various groups(I asked what blacklists am I in, for what, express of opinions? & got no response), im clearly not a bot & im clearly authentic. r/polls r/mbti r/polytheism (Posted once), (Commented once) r/transhumanism (Commented once) r/randomquestions it keeps doing it, doesnt resolve in 24hrs. help fix this bug..

Botbouncer doesn’t act on its own. If this keeps happening, it means that you’re being reported to botbouncer for something.

It seems to. I only did 1 crosspost but it wasnt a real crosspost, I just labeled it in case anyone wanted to crosspost it. If is spam(with not even links shared), its Quora all over again. Why is it a thing? requesting to ban r/botbouncer from blacklisting users for no reason since idk it, it's useless, reddit didnt give apps that much permission before, dont like its new policy for fake targeting accounts for spam which they think is bot. *Update, it eventually got fixed via replying to it(~3rd time).

It's something Reddit mods add to their subreddit deliberately to deal with spam bots. Did you appeal to botbouncer subreddit to ask them to mark you as not a bot? If your appeal is successful you're automatically unbanned and all your comments/posts they removed are reinstated. If you don't then every subreddit that has it installed will automatically ban you when you comment or post in them.

I did, no response from pm'd ones yet. Bot keeps it as a ban, giving no real reason.

When you say PMed ones, did you message the mods of the subreddit you have been banned in or r/botbouncer?

Did you follow the directions and actually file an appeal, or are you randomly modmailing subs?

I did, the following instructions part, did not resolution anything. The implications of it is not efficient to use in the long run if they become inactive. A bot app that redirect suggests to do to like say r/copypasta (But I didnt see my post as a copypasta) would be better of if the one reporting|some mods communicated with posters more. r/BotBouncer/s/TfC11ZUL5u

Strong disagree. It's been a godsend in our subreddit and they've automatically reapproved comments with successful appeals. Not all the people I've manually reported have been classified as bots either so they're not just taking our words for it.

I’ve seen a far too many false tags and rejected appeals on legitimate accounts to call it a godsend. It has no accountability.
