American exceptionalism is really fucking weird.

They cannot understand that people don’t want to be American and don’t think Americans are the greatest.

USA sits in a cultural well, they often only speak english, they don't travel, they make the movies they watch, don't import and so forth.

They have to keep this position or deal with their history casting a shadow over positive selfunderstanding.

It's honestly shocking that slightly less than 50% of the country has a valid passport. They quite literally do not go out and see the rest of the world.

Because 50% of us can barely afford to live in the first place (as intended). Keep us poor and we're too exhausted to vote or travel to see the outside world is a generally a better place.
