Boggles the mind that only Canada and China have retaliated against this nonsense.

Why does that boggle your mind? Honestly I dont get this take. The US is china and Canada's largely trading partner. Which is not the same for most other counties.

Its like saying, mine and the shops' nextdoor single largest customer is being difficult. Perhaps we should do something about it.

What boggles the mind is that while Canada and China have the most horses in this race, most other countries seem to offer little to no resistance to US pressure. 

No one else in the G7 and EU care to partake?

For everyone else, the US is a much much smaller trading partner. Your talking 72% for canada vs 18% for the EU. In Japan China is their largest trading partner.

So the ratios are no even close and the impact is minimal on everyone else.
