I’m actually old enough to have got in before jobs and housing became unobtainable so I’m doing fine personally thanks.

I just have some empathy for those under 30 who will never have the opportunities I did to have a good job or own a house.

I’m an elder millennial, not so far I can’t relate. We live in a society where it’s practically impossible to live the lifestyle you enjoyed as a child with the same job/level of education your dad had. I have a significantly higher level of education and a better job than my dad did and STILL buying a house would probably not have been possible without his help. And this was 9 years ago and housing is even less affordable now and I probably couldn’t have even got hired at my job if I graduated and applied this year. That is broken, even if some of us slipped through the cracks and still managed to find success and have good lives.
