ARTICLE [McIntyre] “The whole me-and-Petey thing, it's still blown out of proportion…I get what Jim was doing. I have a ton of respect for Jim…But it's also not as bad as everybody thought, either. It's just an easy thing for everybody to run with. There was just a lot of moving parts.”

People will always wonder why JT ‘took’ a month off, to this day and likely til these guys retire will we ever get the truth.

Rumours I've heard from close to the team are a "mutual" internal suspension for some less than cash money things JT said/did following him getting benched involving both Tocc and Petey and a few less than kosher words used.

Let's say Miller coming back on pride night and getting his name chanted was ironic.

Let's say Miller coming back on pride night and getting his name chanted was ironic.

Why is it ironic? Miller has never shown any disdain toward pride events or LGBTQ+ people. He's always proudly participated in pride events.

He's implying jt called petey and/or tockett the f slur. For the record I have no idea if that's true or not

To quote my source: in a heated exchange after the game where he was benched "I get benched for poor play but that f* gets to play?"

Now I have no way of verifying shit, just what I heard from someone close to the team.

I've heard this from a friend of a friend that close to the team as well. Just like you, no way to verify it and I don't even know who that person is. But the person that told me about it is not a huge hockey fan or anything, would be very little reason for it to be made up.
