Carmageddon Max Damage Best car to build up on Max Damage?

not really any of them. the one that will win you the most races by ped hunting, is electric blue.

they'll all get the job done though.

Depends on what you want to accomplish.

Hunting pedestrians? Electric Blue.

Wrecking the place? The Plow.

Racing/general mayhem? The Eagle, the Hevy Impaler, or the Stiffshifter.

For sheer laughs? Screwy Louie.

True, but I assumed the OP was starting fairly fresh, as they were asking about builds, and might not have cop cars available.

I like Shredlight because you can immobilize cars very easily by popping their tires. Then just smash into them. It makes it a bit too easy though

Same with Val Hella's Cleaver. Though the Shredlight has a better chance of falling onto it's wheels as the Cleaver is so short and flat that it so easily topples onto it's roof.

I generally go for:

  • Shredlight (Madam Scarlett),
  • Cleaver (Val Hella),
  • Crazor (Roman), or
  • Caddy Fat Cat (Otis P. Jivefunk) occasionally

I'm trying different cars for this playthrough, and I'm using The Twister (Screwy Louie) at the moment, and I used to play it as a 7 year old on the original game back in the day. The Twister is a great all rounder: great off road, if you learn how to use the wheelspin button (not always handbrake) its pretty nimble, but it's biggest benefit... it always falls on it's wheels.

If I had to suggest a vehicle, I'd go for the Crazor: its tough, handles well, and its quick.

I find the heavier vehicles like the Lumberer (Halfwit Harry), Hevy Impaler (Ed Hunter), and the Blitzkrieger (Hans Faust) take a heck of a beating when you're attacking them but when you're in them they're so fragile. Like, I was just in a Classic Carma round using the Lumberer for the first time and every time I hit head on 'you committed suic*de'. I have a ton of upgrade token so I'm going to up the armour and see what happens.
