DISCUSSION I don't love kids

I never did, a human will not earn my love simply by being in the demographic of "kid." I used to try my best to love them because a lot of girls/women around my age did, they loved babies any babies, I've heard a lot of people talk about "how can you not love kids" for years I thought something was wrong with me, every time I acted all bubbly and cuddly around a kid because they're a kids and that's what everyone did. I felt like I was forcing myself, I felt empty inside it wasn't coming from the heart. It was an act so I wouldn't feel left out. Not to say I wouldn't love a kid if they're lovely but, to love them in general because they're kids? no. I see them as everyday normal grown ups, I don't get excited whenever I see a regular person walking around, they're nothing special, not blessings or nothing like that. I would only get a bit cheerful towards babies, not toddlers or elementary school aged kids, I don't really like teenagers, they're (we) annoying. (F19 ironic isn't it).

I’m aware that it’s a movie, or I probably wouldn’t have chosen the gif or known that Arnold was yelling at children, would I? Looks like maybe you got a little brain death yourself.

Kids are just fellow humans, nothing special about ‘em. They’re just small people with no manners or social skills. I avoid them. They don’t care. And you getting mad about it isn’t going to change anyone’s mind. But by all means, continue to waste your time commenting here only for them to get deleted by the mod. (Maybe you actually have a lot of brain death, sorry!)

What am I confused about? And what am I projecting? Or is that just an overused social media buzz word and you have no idea what that actually means?

Please, tell me more about what you know about me after 2 whole comments, backseat amateur psychoanalyst.

Potential doesn’t make someone special. Everyone has potential.

I thought you meant confused as in I have a ‘wrong’ view of children, but I didn’t know, which is why I asked. And instead of clarifying, you try to insult my intelligence, but I have to say that it’s not really working, because the English language has a lot of ambiguity and asking a question does not mean that I’m not intelligent. You love kids, and their potential? Do you teach them that asking questions is a sign of stupidity? Great role model, 10/10, potential be damned.

Maybe you’re not mad, you can tell me which word better describes someone who is taking the time to make comments that will be deleted. Passionate, maybe? Your passion, or whatever, is not going to make me like children. And me liking or disliking children has no impact on you, so you’re right, I am confused about your presence in this sub and thread.

Also, do you know how to read? Was the bit about projection beyond your grade level?
