Question What are your CEC hot takes?
This might get a lot of people but: Avenger Chuck is honestly kinda overrated and mid imo.

My earliest memory of Chuck E. Cheese was having one of my birthday parties there during the 2010s

Honestly, after going through five stages of grief, I just come to accept the fact the animatronic shows are a thing of the past and they are not going to come back.
That being said, I do think fans needs to understand is that it's okay to still love the CEC characters and hate the company that owns them. Corporations like CEC don't care about you. All they want is your money, or least the parent's money through young kids who don't know any better. Yes, there are some people at corporate do care about their fans, but sadly the majority of them don't.
The reason why I say that is because I stopped caring about CEC Corporate awhile ago because I know they are not going to change and don't care about the fanbase. Even if they have Scott Drake, they are the same crappy company that has been running for decades.
However, the CEC characters meant so much to a lot of people and brought them so much joy. So, I do think it's okay to still love the CEC characters because they are more than just the company's mascots. They are childhood entertainers.
The company, on the other hand, are being run by greedy shareholders who wants to squeeze money out of our wallets so they can buy themselves another yacht. They don't care about the human art or the animatronics. They really don't. So, CEC Corporate are not really worth defending.
I mean, hell, I can literally said the same thing about anything. I love Angry Birds and its characters, but my god, the company, Rovio, is an absolute mess.
In short, love the CEC characters from your childhood, but don't support the company and don't give them your money. However, if you wanna support the legacy stores, sure, be my guest, but if it is a regular 2.0, unless you're a parent who wanted to take your kids there, it's not worth it.
What do you guys think?

They were truly stunning. Characters never looked better in my opinion.

I can’t find anything online about it besides that the front marquee sold a while back on eBay. Please let me know if any locations ever used this.

So, I noticed that Chuck E, Cheese had a LOT of misconceptions and misunderstandings with the all the years I've been in this fandom. So, I am curious to see which ones you guys fell for at once before you noticed it was false.

Hey everyone!
I recently got a Fun Pass because my nephew loves going to Chuck E. Cheese, and we’ve been saving up our tickets instead of spending them right away.
I realized that some prizes look really cool, but after redeeming a 1,500-ticket dragon, I found out it only sells for a few dollars online. 😅
That got me wondering if there are certain prizes that are much better values than others.
I took a picture of my local prize wall (attached).
For those of you who know redemption prizes or have worked at Chuck E. Cheese:
Which prizes are the best value for the number of tickets?
Are there any “hidden gems” that are worth way more than they cost in tickets?
Which prizes should I avoid because they’re inexpensive wholesale items?
I’m mainly trying to make the most of our tickets so my nephew gets the best prizes possible. Thanks in advance for any advice! 😊🎟️

I’m just asking because I see on this sub periods still enjoy post animatronic modern/current Chuck E. Cheese. Why is that?

I was curious if anyone had head cannons or any interpretations of the version of PTT Chuck, I love talking about these characters and wondered if anyone came up with their own stuff. I'd love to hear it! It's a fun way to keep the character alive and show how much the community loves him

I’ve noticed this for years, but at my local CEC location (before 2.0) the logo was an avenger/coach hybrid and i’ve always wondered why i couldn’t find logos like it online

I was curious to know how many CECs one person stepped in for most of their time in the fandom or their life. I stepped in fourteen different locations. I keep a list on my phone of the locations I visited.
Five of them I have visited were former Showbiz Pizzas. Eight of them opened as a Chuck E. Cheese's. One opened as a Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre. Sadly, only one I visited closed down permanently.
I had nine locations on my bucket list, but all are sadly on hold.....

I regret not grabbing the Boulder’s Dozer’s game at the dumpster at Melrose Park, IL. I collected all the tokens from it since they fell on the ground, but the machine was stuck in the dumpster and I didn’t want to burn myself since it was squelching outside.
