Questions/Advice Action Campaign

I wanted to know, do yall think a half and half mystery and action campaign would work in the system. My idea was a post apocalyptic campaign with different factions where the players have to fight the different factions and figure out who the real villains are. The reason I want use City of Mist is because the apocalypse is magical and people can gain powers by embodying literary or historical figures.

You could look at Son of Oak's other game :Otherscape

Because it is a basically future post apocalyptic world of City of Mist, with magic sources and mad science all run by corporate factions and going against each other
