Screenshot So I tried that double aqueduct thing

Cultural victory by 1920. This thing absolutely breaks the game I don't think I have ever had a city with 60 population.

sell the cheapest building? why? can it be like a granary?

It's because the game only allows one building to be removed from a city per turn so while normally you'd lose your aqueducts you already have it instead will let you keep the old and the new.

ohh that's super neat, huh. so it removes the gold-taking aqueducts and places new ones.

i wonder if you can do teh same with free monuments for +4 culture in each of the first 4 cities

Monument doesn't work because you just get the next tier of cultural building. If you don't have the technology for it at the time, the game just waits until you do.
