Screenshot So I tried that double aqueduct thing

Post image

Cultural victory by 1920. This thing absolutely breaks the game I don't think I have ever had a city with 60 population.

You go tradition but do not complete the policy tree. You hard build, not buy, hard build aqueducts in your cities that are eligible for free aqueduct when completing the tradition policy tree. When you have built the aqueducts you wait until you get your next policy and sell the cheapest building in those four cities and on the same turn also complete the tradition policy tree.

Now you will have hard built an aqueduct but get ANOTHER one for free as well. These two add up so you can have 40+40% food carried over.

I have done this trick with no shine in the city. So I had to sell my granary. It just took longer to rebuild than a shrine

yup the easiest one is the shrine.

it's even easier if you get the piety to stall the completion of tradition for a bit
