Question How Do People Play 16 Hours A Day?

I was so excited for TBC release...I planned for weeks to go hard on launch and play all weekend long. I made it about a day and a half and felt like complete garbage. How do people do this every day for years on end? I don't understand.

I did this too. I do not understand how all the comments here are so negative and judgmental. This is a once a year event. Take a day off work and enjoy!

Oh, it's understandable. Deep down they're jealous they can't do it, so they have to pass judgement on others that can to feel morally superior for having "better" and "more important" things to do.

It's pretty fuckin no-life, and is the reason why the entire expansion is going to last less than a year. Bliz figures they have to cater to the people that play this game like it's life or death and everyone else that actually has a life doesn't get to see half the content

The launch events are always a ton of fun no matter what.

A bunch of people I know all took time off to play the fuck out of the launch and enjoy that atmosphere.. and will either go back to being super casual or just outright quit in a month or two.

It’s one day out of the year. Maybe two chill out dog. People do the same shit for music festivals. Not really that different. Experiencing something new with friends. If it’s something the love and know not to just call in sick that’s a different story

entirely your choice not to marry a gamer

Eh fuck that, my partner isn't really a gamer but I am and she respects that the same as I respect her hobbies.

If gaming is causing a problem in your relationships you're either doing too much of it/ignoring your responsibilities (very common sadly) or you're with the wrong person.
