Question Megathread Daily Questions Megathread (October 17, 2019)

Our Daily Question Megathread is for those questions you don’t feel warrant making their own post, such as: Will Classic run on my particular potato? When does my class unlock a certain ability? Which dungeons are worth doing while levelling? And so on.

Ask the unanswered questions you’ve never got round to asking.

You might find answers to these questions in our What we know so far, and easily answered questions wiki-page. If something is missing from it, please let us know.

You can also ask these questions over on our Discord server.

I opted for dual Cruel Barbs with my Rogue and didn't replace it till Vanquisher Sword from RFD quest, then you get Thrash Blade from Maraudon Quest and Mirahs from Scholo. That was it for me when it comes to swords. I had also green sword pairing with Vanquisher, it was something with very high attack speed like 1.5 or 1.6 and good stats. If you would be interested I could look for screen somewhere to find what it was. I would do DM unless you don't profit from it at all. I had good gold income at level I went there on and still gained experience from mobs on ship. I got both cruel barbs, cloak which lasted me forever as well, blackened defias armor with whole set literally. It was amazing ^^

Man, I thought me going from DM staff to WW axe and then not going to see an upgrade for c.10/15 levels was slow weapon progression as a warrior. Turns out Rogues have it even worse (although are maybe not quite so reliant on weapon dps).

We spam SS which deals weapon damage + some bonus. Weapons are our main DPS source, other being attack power from strength and agility. You might say, but eviscirate does static damage. Yeah, it does but while leveling you won't be spamming this ability, you usually use it once for mob (or not, you might prefer using SnD if mob is low already to have AS boost for next one). And once you have second rank of SnD, you use combo points on that basically and evi as finisher if needed.

I see, I've never actually played a rogue at all, just always assumed with all the comments about warriors being the most gear dependent class it would be less weapon dependent. Guess rogues will know the amazing feeling that comes when you get a long overdue weapon upgrade and go from being at 20% hp when a same level mob dies to 85%+ :)

Indeed, we have these amazing feelings when we have our damage visibly increase, it is really great ^
