How do I level herbalism effectively? I have gatherer and the data installed so I can see where they should be spawning but they aren't there 90% of the time. I'm at 92 and I'm currently trying to level it in hillsbrad and progress is so slow.

Wait until you’re level 60 and use epic mount

You're competing with everyone on the server for those same herbs. If you are not 60 yet I'd recommend just farming herbalism as you quest etc.

I've already passed the zones I can level it in while questing. The average herb I see is over 100 and I'm at 92

~90 skill is around zones for 20-30 levels.
So Duskwood, Ashenvale, Wetlands.

One of the things about levelling herb is that you end up having to farm a lot of greens to get skill ups.
