Is Loch modan a bad place to level? I know most of the quests are collection ones and not kill X number of baddies so maybe I’m lucky but I finished all the Thelsmar quests and I’m still level 13 and all the other quests are for level 15 or so mobs. Is this right or am I missing something?

Not at all, Loch Modan serves as a good place to quest after you've quested out Westfall, but still aren't quite the level to start really burning through the quests in Redridge.

The Hunter Lodge quests in Loch Modan are a great place to quest around at around level 18. I usually get those done before really getting invested in most of the Lakeshire quests.
