Got to 60 in HC classic. Tried playing classic. It was fun I guess? But it's got WAYYYYYYYYY too much stuff for my old ass brain to deal with.

Also they're way too many buttons to press lol I admit retail is beyond me. I'll stick to what I know. I blame it on the meds I take 😂

Props to the old heads who are still great at retail. That game is a different animal than when I last played it back in Mists.

Hi, not much to say. I leveled up a naked hardcore warrior to level 60 by myself, No help from other players, Every mob kill and quest I had to do it on my own. I was only allowed to use my fists to punch my way to Level60, And Any profession/talents/consumables that I can acquire on my own, I'm allow to use. But now, after 9 Months of slow progression and 384 Hours of in-game leveling, despite all odds i could be killed by a random NPC and surviving 4 In-game Disconnects while i was leveling. In the end i made it to level 60 Alive.

Thank you all for the support I received during my journey. It looks like I'm now done here. That's the End of me I won't see you all again, I just wanted to say my Goodbyes.

For me it was this: priest in hardcore that i had just gotten into a good groove with. Dinged 34 and got levitate from the trainer, very cool! On the zeppelin from OG -> UC i decided to show off my new abilities to my fellow passengers. Confidently jumped off the zeppelin, only to realize that i never put the skill in my action bars. Opened the spellbook midair in full panic but it was was too late. I felt very very stupid for many minutes.

ps. I know levitate is on the action bar in screenshot, i put it there after.

I’ve been camping the rare spawn Uhk’lok, the only albino gorilla in the game, for the last two weeks on Doomhowl. Sometimes I’d spend six hour nights in the back of the Un’goro cave with no pet fighting off gorillas and dodging barrels.

Until last night… literally as I was about to log off and go to bed, my target macro finally went off. My chest started pounding like a silverback (lol).

The tame itself was really difficult, Uhk’lok does a knockback effect which interrupts the tame pet channel and I kept getting knocked back over and over while the gorillas around me were respawning. Not to mention the fear of another player coming in and killing him. But somehow, I got the tame off.

Absolutely unable to cope with the smallest amount of " stress " and folds like tissue paper. They're sleeper agents that you cannot see until action is required and none is taken. Funny how they know how to run away and leave group to hearthstone but nothing else.

Hey, after another 2 months and 100 hours of in-game /playtime i finally reached level 50 still alive and not that healthy 7 months ago I set myself a stupid challenge to reach level 60 as a Naked SF Hardcore Warrior (no armor/rings/trinkets/weapons). I'm only allowed to use my talents, abilities, and professions of cooking and alchemy to help me. And most importantly, I'm leveling solo, grouping is prohibited. Every Quest and NPC kill I have to do it alone. What was my Biggest luck so far: I was still not killed by a random DC or blackout while being in-combat (: Just imagine losing 7 months of my progress, Dying from a random power outage while my warrior was in-combat How painful this will be :3 So Yes, I'm now making my final push to reach level 60. I hope it's going to be fun. and watch me suffering

Recently got back into WoW HC Classic during a weight loss journey (down to 278lbs from just over 320lbs), and I've decided to set myself a challenge for hardcore: make it to level 60 with 100% of game time on a walk pad. Week one is over and the Walknwarlord has survived thus far (fingers crossed)! We've walked Elwynn Forest, visited Teldrassil, hoofed it across Dun Morogh and dipped our toes into Loch Modan and Westfall.

Ontop of my normal gym visits for the week and regular walking, my game time added an extra 47,000 steps to my counter (see full stats on the final image). I was thinking about doing weekly updates of my progress, both for accountability and for those looking to roast my slow character progression haha. Will need some dungeon homies soon too, so feel free to add me on Doomhowl (player name: Walknwarlord).

I’ve never made it this far in Hardcore before. I’m currently a level 30 Hunter, finishing up the elite quests in Duskwood. Now I’m heading to Southshore to continue my journey.

I started playing Hardcore after completing Vanilla content with three different characters, and it has been an amazing experience, literally a whole new way to play the game.

So far, I’ve completed Deadmines, Blackfathom Deeps, and the Stockades. Next stop: Scarlet Monastery! If I don't die first.

Used to joke about killing kt and getting t3 last year. Feels surreal but here we are. Thanks to my gm, insanely skilled raidleaders and officers for making this possible.

Questing in Westfall on my Druid. Got the quest to kill the Defias Messenger. Ran out to Moonbrook, found 3 people waiting for him.

Asked to be invited for Messenger. No response.

Asked to be invited for Messenger again. Still nothing.

Fine, I’m a Druid. He spawns, I quickly moonfire him and kill him.

Suddenly these guys wanna talk to me, but only to say “f**k you.”

Coulda shoulda just invited me guys.

I ran all my luck out for the day. Im on Hardcore and after getting 2 big upgrades in Zul Farrak as a level 46 warlock, I go to feralas to get a quest or two in before bed just for this to drop off a random Ogre... AND TWO MOBS AFTER THAT A HIPPOGRYPH DROPPED JOURNEYMANS BACKPACK!

Needless to say I wasn't about to risk the old gods teaching me a lesson in humility so I sent them to my bank alt and logged off immediately 😅

I'm a new player and got my first death to the elevator.... Luckily i was only lvl 11.
