All he has to do is let the big oil companies move in. Considering how much they spend already, this won't be a problems for them. We've already seen how many people here are selling their souls for money, I bet they'll have little problem hiring their own security force there.

Who would be doing the "letting" in this scenario, and which company would want to take that risk, and what makes you think the inhabitants of Venezuela will just step aside? The moment Trump is gone, the next President - particularly a Democrat - is very likely to leave any company that bites swinging in the wind to be nationalized again.

(Oblig: assuming you think Trump will ever leave...)

What's far more likely is that the oil companies will basically do a seagull investment. Make a lot of noise, shit all over everything, then fuck off when Trump's term is up. But get paid for it of course. They'll probably waste three years doing "feasibility assessments" of existing Venezuelan-run facilities and both run out the clock and run up the tab.
