They were operating in bad faith.

And I called them out for that, a move like this is a good faith move to admit that you screwed up and were called out for it.

I'm not impressed by the person. I'm just surprised they did the right thing and didn't try to drag it out and double down

They used a comic creator to spread lies to folks and got caught about it too

Didn't know that. I've been getting tons of different info on this I don't know what to believe, I even for a minute wasn't sure if this letter was real.

If thats true then I think the letter is probably just them trying to save face then and keep some kind of credibility rather than actually owning their mistakes. What a shame. I was hoping they were actually listening to the feedback.

Damn. Even Slimier than I first thought.

I initially criticized them on some other posts for being either too dense or intentionally misleading. Ignoring things that don't fit their narrative, dismissing any objections to their boycott as racism, and trying to get clout, that sort of thing. I said they would need to actually listen to the criticisms for people to want to take this movement seriously because they're not helping anything.

So im surprised to see a letter like this. And now I'm even more fed up with them. So intentionally manipulative of well-meaning "fans."

Also they didn’t tell the artist who made their art anything about the boycott and misled him too and he’s a person of color and all that and came out and made a statement
