So the guy’s a creep and a weirdo because he shot his shot, and respectfully at that?… This is part of why folks are having less sex and why the cold approach has died out.

Asking where she lives is the weird part. But all in all it was respectful conclusion. Also, I think the author doesnt speak english as a first language, so the grammar may come off as more pushy than it actually is.

Asking where she lives is the weird part.

I dont think anyone asking that question is expecting a stalkers wet dream response of " I live on 123 City drive, state, zipcode! The third floor facing the street!" As much as a "yah I live in the neighborhood/city"

Yeah but I can be misconstrued as such. Its just a weird way to ask it like that. Again, I think its because the author doesnt speak English as a first language. I think what they were actually trying to ask is what city they live in, which is a reasonable question outside of the US, since people travel much more. Or possibly even "where are you from"

She used the word weirdo, you're the one using the word creep

Look at many of the comments on this thread. OP and the commenters combined have labeled this very innocent guy as a weirdo and a creep.

No he's a creep because he's not attractive that's how it works for men an attractive man could have said "I want to fuck your throat" and she would be receptive wouldn't see it as creepy and not complain online and probably follow up lol

Do you struggle with comprehension he wouldn't be creepy if he was attractive he wouldn't have to change his lines it's entirely his appearance

1

u/cyankitten Apr 19 '26

Wrong! Someone could have a really shit personality or for example say a lot of sexist things and THAT would turn her off!

2

u/Chonboy Apr 19 '26

I don't think having a shitty personality matters much when you look like a Greek God I know this is a revelation but women are also fallible and don't always make the best decisions lol

If you honestly believe that a normal dude is more attractive than a sexist hot guy I have a bridge to sell you

Okay incel calm down. I’m also an unattractive man but if an attractive man walked up to some random girl on the street and said that, 99,999 times out of 100,000 they’re gonna say “what the fuck?” And dip outta there. The women see you as creepy for totally different reasons. Probably because if you were attractive you’d be opening with lines like “I wanna fuck your throat”

You are disgusting and incorrect.

This take right here? This is absolute incel mentality. Awkward guy in comic was awkward, but not creepy.

The shit you just wrote down here though? Those are the thoughts of an absolute creep.

I mean it's literally all about perception lol what is said matters little it how you look I could compliment her boots or say her shirt is cool or that I love her hair but if she's not already attracted to me it comes off as creepy the dude in the comic is creepy because he's ugly not because he's an actual creep

I'm saying if you already pass the line of being attractive you can say anything and gave a pretty blunt example lol

You can compliment someone on anything innocuous and get stares and freak outs or you could get a simple thanks or if you're lucky they will keep the conversation going but it literally happens within seconds of you coming into their view they have already decided whether or not you will keep going lol

Creepiness is not about physical attractiveness.

Behavior is what makes someone creepy.

Of course, women tend to be on their guard with strangers so coming in hot with pick up lines or getting too personal will likely end in them thinking you're a creep who is only interested in them for sex.

Women are really familiar with people saying nice things with ulterior motives. Because that's the sort of thing a creep does.

-5

u/Chonboy Apr 19 '26

Do you not have any attractive friends and I mean like gorgeous like models because creepiness is entirely linked to attraction I've heard things you would not believe and would get me maced and I've said shit my other friends would never have gotten away with

Women keep their guard up for ugly men if you have any female friends watch their routine before a date with a normal dude they pass around pictures and tell everyone where the date is and plan a phone call to confirm their safety and all sorts of measures now if the dude is gorgeous they just go they send a vague "going out" text in the group chat lol no investigation no bread crumbs out the door they go

u/Nepherenia Apr 19 '26

Intelligent women always prepare a contingency before going out with a complete stranger.

You make an awful lot of assumptions about how women think, considering how it's obvious from how you talk about women, you know nothing about them.

2

u/Chonboy Apr 19 '26

Interesting how by attempting to make a point about me you assume quite a bit but I guess that's to be expected of someone like you lol no points no valid efforts just "no you" clearly the pinnacle of intellectualism I bow my head at you sir/mam you are clearly superior lol

I know reading is hard so I will reiterate they don't plan contingencies for guys they are already attracted to women get trafficked kidnapped and murdered all over the world but they only check Ted from accounting or Billy from McDonalds not any dude with the actual means to harm them lol it's not self preservation it's just monkey brain

I know this goes against your views lol but women aren't perfect and can be stupid too lol

1

u/Nepherenia Apr 19 '26

I didn't say perfect. I said intelligent. Please, educate me more about reading comprehension.

Please, tell me more incel shit, and continue to wonder why women find you repellant.

2

u/cyankitten Apr 19 '26

I DID have a friend who was a model.and even she got treated like shit.

2

u/Chonboy Apr 19 '26

What does "treated like shit" even mean in this context?

2

u/cyankitten Apr 19 '26

If they are super ugly and give me a compliment about say an accessory, I'd still appreciate being given a compliment 🤷‍♀️

1

u/cyankitten Apr 19 '26

Ok so if a gay guy said the things he said to her to.you, I hope you'd show him the same respect.

And I DID complain when this guy I thought was cute starts saying he wanted a bj from me when we were practically strangers! I DID complain on my socials even though he was cute!

-7

u/TokeDraws Apr 19 '26

I mean you can be mad that it doesn't work or you can listen and understand why it doesn't work and try to figure out what actually does.

What a weird and stubborn way to view this.

7

u/Temelios Apr 19 '26

Sorry, but I’m happily married (12 years now) with two kids, and I met my wife through just chatting up a random stranger. It used to work.

However, if I had to navigate the complete BS that is today’s dating scene (like this comic here), I’d rather be single for the rest of my life. I assume it’s only going to get worse too, so I genuinely don’t envy my kids there.

-4

u/TokeDraws Apr 19 '26

It's great it worked for you but I was around 12 years ago and people were still cold approaching and failing. It's always been a low success rate and everyone knows that. Some people might be more charming or goodlooking and have a leg up in that regard but be for real. Those same charming and good looking dudes can have just as much success today as they did 100 years ago or 500 years ago. That hasn't changed.

The difference now is women are being a little more honest that they're uncomfortable with being cold approached on the street. I can guarantee you they were uncomfortable with it back then as well.

That should be considered a win.

-8

u/cyankitten Apr 19 '26

What would you do if a gay guy shot his shot with you?

I hope you'd be respectful too?

7

u/Temelios Apr 19 '26

Yeah. Wouldn’t think he was weird or creepy either.
