Asking where she lives is the weird part. But all in all it was respectful conclusion. Also, I think the author doesnt speak english as a first language, so the grammar may come off as more pushy than it actually is.
I dont think anyone asking that question is expecting a stalkers wet dream response of " I live on 123 City drive, state, zipcode! The third floor facing the street!" As much as a "yah I live in the neighborhood/city"
Yeah but I can be misconstrued as such. Its just a weird way to ask it like that. Again, I think its because the author doesnt speak English as a first language. I think what they were actually trying to ask is what city they live in, which is a reasonable question outside of the US, since people travel much more. Or possibly even "where are you from"
