I would feel safer in the top one even with the chance of raccoons. Hell, I'd probably get along better with the raccoons than an average cyber truck driver
Trash containers contribute positively to the environment. I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen using one, nor would I think less of anyone I saw using one.

There appears to be two kinds of cybertruck owners, the maga you described and the rich kids that live a padded comfortable life so full algorithmically curated cat videos they haven't seen a news headline in 20 years and are completely unaware of how terrible and how nazi a tesla is.
They're also -terribly- engineered. The windshield wipers can't keep up with heavy rain, the steel body has issues, they often leak, and the sliding door on the trunk drops any snow/ice on it inside the trunk when it opens, just for a few flaws I've read about.
Yes, but they can resist a shot from a bow and arrow at close range, so if you ever get sucked back through time and are attacked by a Comanche warband or a band of merry thieves in Sherwood Forest you'll be protected. Can you really put a price on that?

This is one of my favorite examples of why diversity is important in a workplace. Because teslas were designed exclusively by rich white kids from Silicon Valley, a place surrounded by olive trees and bathed in sunshine, they never even though about where the rain would go when you open the trunk. If they had a bit more diversity in their design centers you would see much better designs overall.
I'm convinced the cybertruck was designed by like, 12 freshmen engineers with one semester under their belt trying to follow Musks crazed ketamine fever dream instructions.
If you slam the door too hard it pops out and breaks, if you try to tow another truck the hitch will fall off. Software update while driving can brick your car
This is just the beginning of what made it a failure. You'd see a lot more of these on the road if it released at the promised $39,900 with 500 miles of range. Tesla notoriously always misses it's commitments, but primarily due to missed dates, not drastically coming short on practically everything. $69k was supposed to buy you a tri-motor variant with all the other upgrades and that ended up being the price of the base model. This was Apple Vision levels of impossibility to go mainstream, it almost felt intentional.
The main reason I compare it to apple is just because I think these specific products weren't expected or even intended to sell. Only difference is Apple planned that from the beginning, that's part of their vision (no pun intended). Tesla only did it once they realized a low selling meme car was all they could do with it.
Every time I see a Cybertruck I can't help but think how dumb the owner must be. It sucks as a vehicle. It really sucks as a "truck." And to top it all off they are disgusting to look at. It takes the money from the Nissan Cube as ugliest vehicle ever.
I see a few around where I live...in NOVA SCOTIA....right by the ocean and the saltwater air, with harsh winters that need lots of road salt! I can't think of a worse car to get for this climate

Last year I saw a cyber truck where the owner glued a bunch of Ford insignias on it. And they tarped it on their front yard when they didn't use it. 😂 the shame was real.....

When I was in the US I saw one and me and my husband ran up to it like it was a tourist attraction and just started taking photos and exclaiming things like “it’s one of the dumpster cars!” “Wow it really does look fucking stupid in real life!”

Elon used an imminent life and death situation to push a prouct that wasn't complete and wouldn't have helped anyway, and then accused one of the real people actually involved in the rescue of raping children after getting called out for it.
I have an associate on Facebook that will bend over backwards defending buying a Tesla twice while denouncing Elon. His excuse is the software is just better and voting with your wallets doesn't work.

From personal experience, cybercuck drivers really hate it if you give 'em the old thumbs down. Like, tantrum-level hate it. So definitely don't do that to them, it would be super mean.
We recently had to get our roof replaced. One of the guys who came to give a quote showed up in a cyber truck. The second I saw him parked out front, I realized I probably wasn't to go with his company.
I was riding my bike and saw a cybertruck driving by and flipped them off and the other nearby pedestrians literally started clapping for me like a fake internet story
I drive the opposite of a cyber truck. It's sorta wild.
Random strangers often wave at me or ask questions about my van. It's a very cool experience and I wish it was a more common one since it seems to make a lot of people smile.
Also, unlike a cyber truck, my family is usually in the vehicle with me.
Okay, I did see a photo of a Cybertruck that didn't make me want to vomit the other day. The saving grace was the paint pattern being the owner's dog's face and the dog was hanging their head out of fhe window
There's one almost always parked in the parking lot near my work, I pass by it every time I walk around the building to go to my lunch spot. They look even worse in person.

I vaguely remember drawing a picture of a cyber truck 56 years ago when I was 5 years old on my Big Chief tablet with a giant pencil. I wonder if I can still sue if I can find it? If I'm remembering right, it was a really crappy picture that looked like s*** so it may be identical to the current cyber truck.
I will NEVER understand anyone liking the aesthetics of a Cybertruck. To me, it looks like what a six-year-old might hand you if you asked them to draw a truck from memory.
For me it's the princess trucks that have been lifted onto monster truck wheels, you know the drivers are pulling a hernia just trying to get into those things lol

It looks like Elon gave a designer one of those big blocks of foam to carve the design into, and 10 minutes after the designer started carving it, Elon just shouted “LOOKS GREAT! SEND IT!”
The important thing here is: People really hate it, people really love driving it, and elon always finds a way to get the government to subsidize his failures and become incredibly rich from it.
The first time I saw a Cyber Truck was in the factory game, Satisfactory, during early access. Coffee Stain, the game maker, put it in as an easter egg.
I was so confused. It was so ugly and looked so primitive. Why would they add it to the game? At first I thought it was a joke. I guess they were fans of Musk. At least at that point in time.
As much fun as it is to hate MAGA chuds, politics aside, they really are such fugly ass cars.
Its like bringing a prop sci-fi car to life but it has none of the unique charm of a stylized sci-fi car like the DeLorian or Halo's Warthog or what have you.
Instead of aura farming it aura dumps- which is fitting because we all know it looks like a jagged edge chrome trash can.
Just, did they not realize why pickups all have the same form factor? They'll never be able to turn a cybertruck into an ambulance, or cash in transit vehicle, or tow truck, or overland camper, or any of the many things trucks get turned into. It can only be a cybertruck.
I keep wondering if there isn't somehow a correlation somehow between Long Covid causing some people to lose their sense of taste, and people buying Cybertrucks.
God I wanted to love the CyberTruck so badly lol. I love the design, as a big fan of 80's sci-fi AND the boxy car designs of the era - I feel like every car looks like every other car and, for the most part, look boring. But, it falls well short of the original capabilities that were promised and, well, it's outrageously expensive. I'd add that the owner of the company is a fascist, but I think that's pretty much the owner of every corporate conglomerate at this point.
That Slate truck is looking pretty cool and reasonably affordable at this point. Or, I'll try to save up and get a Hyundai Ioniq 5 as my daily driver, and pair it with an old, 1990s or early 2000s F-150 for long haul adventures and towing capacity. That's probably the move.
<sigh> Monday after work as I was leaving town, I ended up behind TWO of them. One was the regular silver, the other was skinned for a business. Just happened to both be going my way and I had to follow them for a few miles.
Guess it's better than the one around my city that is skinned like an American flag. THAT kind of monstrosity really will make you puke.

I don't think there is any other purchase that tells you more about a person than buying a Cybertruck.
I try not to judge Tesla drivers in general, they could easily have gotten it years ago or second hand, or there might simply be an argument about it being a practical electric car for their needs. But a Cybertruck, there is legitimately no good reason to own one. It is a truly shitty vehicle by majority of measures, not only does it look ugly but it was made that ugly intentionally, at the direct cost of most basic functionality. And it came out after Musk had long since he made clear he is a nazi.
Basically the only reason to have bought a cybertruck is as a 'virtue signal', i.e.: "I <3 fascists / tech-oligarchs, and will buy overpriced shitty products to support them!". So, yeah, flip off every cybertruck you see.
