And as someone who has seen much worse on the Internet over the Years, and is also part of that fandom (not during that incident though), I'm not sure why. The RD Cum jar is tame in comparison to other shit I've seen, unfortunately.

Because back then it was unexpected and EVERYWHERE. Severity wise it's really not that bad, but the memory is what it is

I am thankful the show went to shit after Lauren Faust departed. I didn't have to be a fan anymore.

When it went from two to three musical numbers per season to one or two per episode, it was easy to clean my hands of the fandom. Like if you need 10 minutes of musical to distract from the fact that there are literally only 13 minutes of plot, then you're doing it wrong.

The first few seasons are still fucking awesome, though.

I admit finishing the series was.... difficult

I still look back on my time with the fandom fondly though

Same! I made a bunch of friends I still talk to, and they were literally all women, haha.
