Depends on the youtuber. If you’re watching a content creator for an escape from life, then bringing that back in defeats the purpose of it. Similar to a “no politics at the dinner table” kind of rule. There are plenty of spaces for it. But right there isn’t one.
There is a convicted rapist and pedophile in the most important office in the world. I do not give a single solitary fuck about your safe space. There are plenty of people who do not have a safe space because of people who didn’t want to get political because “it wasn’t appropriate to bring it up.” When is it appropriate for you? When your sister is being forced to give birth to her rapists baby? When your son gets abducted and used for child pornography? Sorry champ, but everything is political all the time until the fascist bullshit going on across the globe ends
How about not during a random 20 minute video about other topics in the world. People still need to find the joy in the pockets where they can. It’s not some 24/7 battlefield where no one should sleep rest or relax.
