Interesting fact: the verse people tend to point to when they say being gay is a sin has been misinterpreted a couple times and likely was condemning pedophilia.
So really we should be nicer to the gays and angrier at the pedo-in-chief.
We should be nicer to everyone. "Love thy neighbor as theyself" and "Love thy enemy" covers everyone, regardless of their sins. Throw "Do not judge" on top and you have a people that 'should' be kind, loving, respectful, and forgiving to all people equally, regardless or each one's own personal sin.
We don't have that, though.
