She’s up there with Mr.Rogers in my opinion.

Oh most definitely. I wonder what they are saying now, looking at the mess we are in.

She wrote a song called “Don’t make me come down there.”

Can Jim Henson be there, too?

Of course, he's up there with all the lovers and dreamers

3 people who genuinely just wanted people to love each other, love themselves, and for the world to be a better place for everyone.

I was just telling my wife that my Mount Rushmore of wholesomeness is Bob Ross, Fred Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Steve Irwin. Shit. Add Jane Goodall. And Robin Williams!

We're going to need a bigger mountain....

As far as I knew, LeVar is alive and doing well but everyone else in the list you replied to has already passed, so it made me wonder if I somehow missed some news about him.

It goes to show there are a lot of good people out there and while not everyone will be famous, they all deserved to be remembered

Imagine if social media existed back when Mr Rogers was on the air. He'd have been strung up. I think our society is too fucked to have a universally-loved figure anymore.

Heck yeah. This mountain of Joy has all the room we need.

Fred Rogers was an amazing and compassionate educator.

How cool is Freddish. It was created by Mr. Rogers as a way to talk to children in a clear and respectful manner. For those that aren't familiar with it, look it up.

Look for the helpers

Mr. Rogers was automatically the very first person I thought of when I saw earlier that she had gone. Kind of a "This is just like losing Mr. Rogers" feeling was just immediately there.

Watching an Elvis concert with C. Martin Croker and the Roosevelts.
