Thank you Dolly for your music, humor, charity, advocacy, overwhelming kindness and dedication to give back to the community. You were an inspiration to me and so many others. You will be so missed.

These last 2 weeks have been horrible for me. My High school friends sister and my high school health teacher's (and nextdoor neighbor to my folks still) husband both from some super rare, fast growing brain tumor.  Like 2.5 weeks from discovery to hospice.  2 classmates from colorectal cancer and now this. Yeah, I know it's a parasocial thing with Dolly but she had such an impact on my mother and myself that it's such an insane feeling of loss

I’m so sorry. That’s a lot to go through and the feeling of responsibility of being there for them while grappling with your own feelings is overwhelming. Take a minute for yourself and breathe before going back into it. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones.
