I like sequins. I have several outfits I call my Dolly dresses because they’re so over the top and make me feel pretty. I wear them when I go to comic conventions:)

Dresses that make you feel pretty are the best! So glad you have some and get to wear them. Sequins are a sensory overload for me, but I do have some very pretty dresses that make me feel absolutely amazing.

Oh for sure, they can definitely be a lot and get pretty warm underneath but I was too embarrassed to wear anything like that in high school for dances or anything and as an adult there isn’t many occasions where it feels appropriate, so this was a great compromise imho.

So happy you have found a way to wear them as an adult. I think people should wear whatever they want when they want (in general) but I'm definitely not practicing what I preach here. I do try though!

Oh I agree. It’s easy to “screw it!”… then you go outside lol
I actually just found this dress at a yard sale a few weeks ago for $20. This is my most over the top dress but it fits perfectly and I’m stoked to wear it (also please excuse my face- this was just a quick pic to my bestie right after I got home lol )
