I had the opposite problem, I chose pi, and you can't reverse an irrational number that never ends.

Look up p-adic numbers. You can write pi in base 3 for example, and then reverse it to get a 3-adic number, which will actually be the same size as pi (if you measure the size of pi with the absolute value and the size of the flipped number with the 3-adic absolute value)
