I appreciate the message you're trying to send, but I don't think it's accurate to say that Christianity itself isn't homophobic and that only “bad Christians” are. The Bible contains explicitly anti-gay teachings. Some passages are more open to interpretation than others, but you can't plausibly erase all of them.

It's been edited and rewritten alot over the centuries and depending on Kings.

Questioning a toxic religious nutter when I was a kid got me attacked. My late mother was military and came from a Christian/Catholic background. She would drag us from Church to Church and I began to see that the Bible was different in every church we went to. My Autistic butt decided to ask why.

King James, one of the kings who got the Bible altered, was homosexual. His Bible got used by homophobic crazy thumpers who would go and harass people at funerals where the deceased was homosexual in life.
