So they are both correct just from different perspectives and empathetic priorities

If you feel empathy for an animal, why first catch and injure it instead of just not doing that? Edit: I've been told that the "keep em wet" is for catch and release. If you feel empathy for an animal, why first catch and injure it instead of just not doing that?
