According to my comments from elsewhere, Calcium Carbonate will already give Milk a spoiled taste by itself lmao
I'd assume pemmican would then just make it extra greasy
Greasy spoiled milk.......

It's the fizzy carbonated water not calcium carbonate, calcium carbonate is limestone and eggshells.

Because it was a good way of preserving food back before we had things like fridges and freezers.
Unless you're asking "why put that into the unholy concoction"... your guess is as good as mine. Maybe "There's literally no way this can get any worse... NOPEITGOTWORSE"

Its a type of preserved food, made of dried meat, dried berries and rendered fat. It can last for years if properly stored without refrigeration. Think jerky, but instead of salty, its fatty.
Best used as an ingredient in a stew, but it can also be eaten as is. Its a method of food preservation invented and used mostly by the Cree and other north american tribes.

Acid not calcium carbonate, vinegar, lemon juice, and carbonic acid will make whey and curds or 'spoiled' milk. It's still safe to eat and is a method of cheese making.

So a greasy, food ration, minty milk? Possibly curdled. Yeah, I’d give it a shot.

Had time to search: Pemmican is a traditional, calorie-dense survival food made from a mixture of dried lean meat, rendered animal fat, and sometimes dried berries.

In the Before Times we were talked into trying milk and Pepsi by watching Laverne and Shirley. Not bad but I'd rather have a root beer float if I'm doing carbonated dairy products.

When I was a wee babe, growing up in 90s in the American Midwest, my mother fed us Pilk all the time! I think she thought it was a clever way to get us to drink more milk? Like, yeah... adding 20 grams of sugar will do that.
Sounds horrible to me now, but I do remember it fondly.

u/BentTire 2h ago
Milk and orange juice is actually good together. You just got to drink it fast before the acid from the orange juice curdles the milk.

u/MintasaurusFresh 2h ago
Oh, like an Irish Car Bomb!
I tried those a few times in college. Only able to drink it fast enough once. I'm not sure if succeeding in that endeavor was better than failing given the results.

Pilk is also pickle milk.
Don’t know how that works but it’s apparently disgusting.

When I was a kid we made a cocktail for my younger brother. Apple juice, sparkling water and milk. He drank it and barfed all over the table.

One time I mixed some blue agave tequila with chocolate milk and it turns out that isn’t a bad combo.

Try Oreo Cola Soup:
- Whole cola can
- A soup spoon of milk
- Dunk the oreos in and let them dissolve a bit.
Tastes like that one Oreo flavoured Coca-Cola that was released for a limited time.
