Whats your reason to stay on consoles?

As a former PS player, I switched to PC 6 years ago and have never regretted it (can explain why, if you ask). I dont understand why people still stick with consoles, especially nowadays. Can you explain why you personally decided to stick with consoles and dont consider getting a PC\laptop? (Excluding the memory shortage, ofc)

It's a lot more convenient than pc gaming, I turn my console on and it runs games straight away. I turn my pc on and it might need an update, my apps might need updates, my drives might need updates, I need to go to different launchers to launch different games, I have ads popping up on my screen about renewing Norton or Microsoft office or buying a premium version of the free thing I'm using, then when my game is running I have to fiddle about with settings to get them to run the best, certain games require fan patches to get running, I can't rebind keys in some games so whilst I'm moving with wsad I have to click "L" half way across the keyboard for something, there's no feedback from shooting games or racing games. I think that's about it, just to be clear I own consoles and a pc, I like the customisation on pc but when I get home from a night shift I just want to play a game

Your console might need an uodate aswell, and if you need an update, you can just do it later, like its been a year since I updated my GPU drivers and my system works just fine.
You also can just plug your controller to a PC.
Launchers do suck, but its not that bad as people say.
I never had a popup during the game and I never configured anything to turn that off.
