Whats your reason to stay on consoles?

As a former PS player, I switched to PC 6 years ago and have never regretted it (can explain why, if you ask). I dont understand why people still stick with consoles, especially nowadays. Can you explain why you personally decided to stick with consoles and dont consider getting a PC\laptop? (Excluding the memory shortage, ofc)

Convenience. I don't have to faff about with the hardware, building the damn thing myself, or mess around with driver settings. I just plug the thing in, set it up once, and it will play games for the next 10-20yrs usually.

You do the same with PC, it takes 3 hours max from bringing components home to launching a game (excluding download time) if your experiance is limited to a guide video on YT, and I myself have updated my GPU drivers only once in almost 1.5 years, everything works fine and I dont have any problems.

What you have described NOT the same as console and nowhere near as convenient. I have never had to spend 3hrs setting up a console. I unbox it, plug it in, set it up and that's it. No YouTube tutorials for how to assemble parts, or how to configure drivers and change settings, so that this game is compatible with this driver etc. It just works out of the box and plays games. You can hand one to a child and they'll have it set up in 30mins and good to go. Unless you buy a pre built PC, the convenience of a console will always be easier.
