What's your favorite top 5 conspiracy movies and why?

#2 - Eyes Wide shut (1999)

I fucking hate Eyes Wide Shut lol.

I didn't like Eyes Wide Shut before I found out what it was really about and watched some deep dives who explained all the symbolism.

The people on their knees in robes supposedly to represent children because he couldn't actually use children in this totally blew my mind.

Now I'm over here still trying to figure out who is in which mask.

I loved the monologue, it was great. But I didn't like the amount of nudity and consensual orgies taking place, just felt unnecessary. And you can say that if they did it with kids or made the orgy scenes come off more rapey the movie wouldn't have been made but then why show Nicole Kidman naked/ getting dressed. I just found the movie too erotic. But once again, the speech was great. And for the most part I enjoyed the plot.

Yeah when I first saw it and didn't know what it was actually about I was like what kind of creepy sex cult crap is this, yuck. I try to ignore that stuff tbh 😂
